Mr.Usama Tauqeer, on behalf of A-Clan, signed an MoU with IMFN for the co-operation regarding skills-development of youth with  focus on Islamic Microfinance. Through this MoU, the two parties in agreement have access to each other’s resources. IMFN’s youth chapter, Students for Microfinance (SF2M), will be collaborating with A-Clan’s iniative “AforYouth”. Both parties shall share the benefits of this collaboration through training and mentoring sessions, career-placement programs and academic linkages.

In the interactive session with the new recruits of SF2M, Usama discussed his educational background at NUST, from where he graduated with a degree in software engineering, and his journey towards the creation of A-Clan. Usama, along with 2 of his friends, is the founder of A-Clan; a youth driven marketing and design based tech-startup. A-Clan focuses primarily on encouraging the youth to utilize talent and to help invest into the economy in a more productive manner. The main aim of A-Clan is to provide solutions to problems in these 5 main domains: Designing, Developing, Photography, Branding/Rebranding and Social Media Management.

Usama is a self-taught designer and was ranked amongst Pakistan’s Top 25 Under 25 in 2014. Since his early days at NUST, Usama had wanted to make a social impact by doing community work in an entrepreneurial manner.
